Bruce Houghton has over 40 years of architectural
experience, including projects in healthcare, criminal justice, education and similar institutional categories. Working with Rañon & Partners since 1973, Bruce has been responsible for Master Planning assignments for Hillsborough County and Pinellas County jails, City of Tampa Housing Authority, 13th Judicial Circuit Court, Hillsborough County Community College and the Hillsborough County School Board. Significant projects include the Sarasota Rehabilitation Hospital, the Orient Road Jail, the Edgecomb Court Facility and the HCC Brandon Campus. Bruce's particular strength is bringing together a diverse team of owners, users and consultants then employing communication skills, innovation and creativity to find unique, consensus-building design solutions.
