As a project architect and manager, who has successfully worked for architectural and construction firms, Ms. Guinan brings a comprehensive perspective of a project’s development from preliminary planning through complete construction. This includes, on the design side, initial client contact, design conceptualization, creating construction documents, writing contracts and providing construction administration services. On the construction side, this includes document review and distribution, acquisition of Subcontractor quotes, compilation of construction estimates, implementing construction schedules with agency review, coordination with Owners and Architects for products and facility impact and having projects being constructed on time and within budget. Laura believes that communication with Clients is key to a successful project. This involves being able to convey concepts and relate to people in usual and unusual situations. She is adept at understanding an issue, finding a solution and moving on to the next challenge.
